Don’t Let the Enemy Steal your Joy

Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.”

God wants us to enjoy every single day of our Life. John 10:10 Happiness is a decision. Happiness is not something that just moves around. We need to choose to be happy and enjoy our life.
Most of the time we think, when my problem is solved I will be happy, I will be happy as soon as I get a job, as soon as I get married…….. and one day I will enjoy. But God says I want you to enjoy right now. I want you to be happy right now. Now and today is the time to be happy.

We are waiting for an event to take place so that we could be happy. We need to choose to be happy right now. You might say, “ Hey, you don’t understand what situation I am going through, hw the circumstances around me are etc”

Psalm 37: 23 says The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. We need to understand that whatever is going through in our lives God is in control. He knows every detail of what we are going through. You may not know but keep your face smiling because your steps are ordered by the Lord. When we get up, we start thinking about the good or bad. Its not the big thing bothering us, but the small and minute issues. Never give into discouragement. We get up pray, sing and rejoice, but when small thing comes we get upset about it, finding a key, stuck in traffic. The enemy does not want us to be happy. When we are in a traffic we feel that our plans are interrupted, we start complaining and speaking bad about it. We say everything is gone, my plans are destroyed…. But we need to know that our plans are ordered by the Lord.

Proverbs 16:0, A man makes plan, but God orders our steps. Don’t let the enemy poison you. We need to know that God is ordering our steps. When we are stuck in a traffic, who knows God was saving us from an accident. Or he must have saved someone else’s life by delaying you. Make a decision to stay calm and cool. No problem is worth the problem.
Our plans may change but the Lord is mindful of it. (psalm 150), he is always thinking of us.

Ephesians 4:23 says, Be renewed in the spirit of your mind. Instead put on a new attitude, whatever I do will be best, put on a new attitude of praise. Start praising and thanking God, Rejoice evermore.
Sometimes we are upset because someone said something about us. Or someone thinks of us in a particular way. You are not what others say think you are. It does not matter what people think, what matters is what
God thinks about you. Let not other people determine your happiness. Don’t give people around you to control your mind and emotions. Just choose to be happy wherever we are.

God is in control, don’t be sour or angry. God is saving and protecting us.
